Vinod Kumar, reeling from the tragic loss of his two sons, Ayush Pratap (13) and Aahan Pratap (6), in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district, has issued a heartfelt plea to authorities. His sons were allegedly killed by a barber named Sajid, prompting the police to conduct an “encounter” resulting in Sajid’s death. Now, Javed, Sajid’s brother and another alleged perpetrator, remains at large.
In the wake of this devastating incident, Kumar implores law enforcement not to resort to extrajudicial measures against Javed. Despite his profound grief, Kumar believes that Javed should be apprehended and questioned about the events that led to the tragedy. He asserts that the police must seek answers from Javed regarding the motives behind the heinous act, sparing no harm to innocent lives like his children’s.
Expressing his anguish, Kumar underscores the innocence of his children, who were merely acquainted with the joys of play and education. He finds solace in their memories while grappling with the unfathomable loss.
