Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday hinted that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar might make a “big decision” after June 4 to save his party, Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)]. This statement came shortly after Kumar asserted that he would not leave the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Addressing media persons in Patna, the former Deputy Chief Minister remarked, “After June 4, our uncle can take any big decision. He can do anything to save his party and the politics of backward classes.” Yadav’s comments strongly suggest that Kumar could take another political U-turn following the declaration of the Lok Sabha election results on June 4.

Despite Nitish Kumar’s recent reassurances about his commitment to the NDA, Yadav’s remarks have stirred speculation about potential shifts in Bihar’s political landscape. This comes amid ongoing discussions about the future of JD(U) and its strategies to remain influential in Bihar’s politics.

Yadav’s insinuation points to the unpredictability and dynamic nature of Bihar’s political arena, where alliances and political stances can change rapidly. As the state waits for the election results, the possibility of significant political maneuvers remains a topic of intense discussion and anticipation.
