Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to mark significant infrastructure milestones in Hyderabad, as he lays the foundation stone for the innovative Double Decker Corridor and inaugurates a signal-free flyover at LB Nagar.
The Double Decker Corridor, a pioneering project in the city, aims to alleviate traffic congestion along the Medchal road. Spanning five kilometers from Paradise to Suchitra junction, the corridor will feature an elevated stretch for vehicular traffic and a separate level dedicated to the Metro Rail.
Simultaneously, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the elevated flyover at LB Nagar, transforming it into a signal-free junction along the bustling Vijayawada highway. This strategic infrastructure enhancement is poised to enhance connectivity and streamline traffic flow in the region.
In other developments, the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) is concluding its evaluation of the Kaleshwaram project. The visit to the project site raised queries regarding the efficacy of certain aspects, prompting the Irrigation Department to summon both retired and active engineers to address the Committee’s concerns.
Additionally, guidelines for Indiramma Houses, aimed at providing housing for the economically disadvantaged, have been delineated. In a collaborative effort, district Ministers and local MLAs will oversee the selection of beneficiaries, ensuring transparent and equitable distribution of the ₹5 lakh assistance provided for each house, disbursed in four installments.
