Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra progresses into its third day in Gujarat, with the Congress leader entering Chhota Udepur district on March 9. Scheduled to address a gathering of social workers in Narmada district later in the day, Gandhi’s yatra aims to engage with grassroots activists and address key issues affecting farmers, tribals, and Dalits.
According to senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, who provided insights to PTI, the yatra will cover Chhota Udepur, Bharuch, Narmada, and Surat on its 56th day. In the morning session, focus will be on Chhota Udepur and Narmada districts, followed by an interaction with 70 activists and civil society organizations in Narmada’s Kuvarpara at 2 p.m.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra underscores Gandhi’s commitment to grassroots engagement and amplifying the voices of marginalized communities across India. As the yatra traverses through Gujarat, it seeks to address pressing issues and foster dialogue with local stakeholders.
Gandhi’s proactive approach in connecting with social workers and civil society organizations reflects a broader initiative to bridge the gap between policymakers and grassroots activists. The yatra serves as a platform for meaningful exchange and collective action towards achieving equitable development and justice for all.
