Pushing Buttons Studios, the production venture founded by Bollywood power couple Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, is making headlines following the success of their debut production, “Girls Will Be Girls,” at the Sundance Film Festival. The film secured two prestigious awards, the Audience Choice for Best Film and the Jury Award for Best Actor presented to Preeti Panigrahi. Building on this momentum, the studio has unveiled a diverse lineup of six projects spanning various genres, including adult animation, comedy, satire, documentary, and fantasy drama.

The unveiled lineup includes “Girls Will Be Girls,” a coming-of-age drama directed by Shuchi Talati, which explores the rebellious journey of 16-year-old Mira, disrupted by her young mother’s unfulfilled coming-of-age experience. Additionally, the crime thriller “Papita,” directed by Akash Bhatia, promises an engaging exploration of crime and suspense.
