On day three of the Para Shooting World Cup, Indian shooters Rudransh Khandelwal and Nihal Singh demonstrated their prowess by clinching silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the mixed 50m pistol (SH1) category. Despite narrowly missing the gold, the duo showcased their skill and earned accolades for the host nation.

Rudransh Khandelwal, a teenager who secured a Paralympic berth last year, exhibited remarkable performance, scoring 223.2 in the final. However, he settled for silver behind Italy’s Davide Francesschetti, who secured the gold with a total of 230.0 points. Nihal Singh secured the bronze medal with a score of 202.8 points.

The Indian trio, including Singhraj (Tokyo Paralympics silver medallist), also bagged the mixed 50m pistol (SH1) team silver. In the team event, they collectively scored 1573 points, with Rudransh shooting 530, Nihal contributing 527, and Singhraj adding 516 points. Despite their commendable effort, China claimed the gold with a combined score of 1611.
