New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, May 21, 2023, lauded the people of Baramulla Lok Sabha constituency for achieving its highest-ever voter turnout. Modi noted that such active participation in the democratic process is a positive trend.
Baramulla, a constituency that has historically faced militancy issues, saw a record voter turnout of 59 percent during the peaceful polling day on Monday.
