Kinetic Green, a pioneer in sustainable mobility solutions, has announced the successful delivery of 130 units of its latest innovation, the E-Luna electric moped, to BigBasket in Pune. These electric mopeds, tailored for commercial use, will serve as efficient delivery vehicles for Safe and Secure Delivery Solutions, the official delivery partner of BigBasket. The adoption of E-Luna in the delivery fleet aligns with BigBasket’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint while offering cost-effective and eco-friendly delivery solutions.
The introduction of Kinetic E-Luna electric mopeds marks a significant step towards promoting sustainability in last-mile delivery operations. By transitioning to electric vehicles, BigBasket aims to minimize its environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency and reducing operational costs. Compared to traditional petrol-powered bikes or scooters, E-Luna offers a greener and more economical alternative, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment.
The Kinetic E-Luna is available in two variants, catering to diverse consumer preferences and requirements. The E-Luna X1, priced at Rs 69,990, and the E-Luna X2, priced at Rs 74,990 (both prices ex-showroom), offer consumers a choice of five vibrant color options: Mulberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green, and Night Star Black.
Equipped with advanced lithium-ion battery technology, the E-Luna delivers impressive performance and range capabilities. The X1 variant features a 1.7kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 90km and quick charging from 0 to 100 percent in just 3 hours. On the other hand, the X2 variant boasts a 2kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 110km and charging in 4 hours. Additionally, Kinetic Green plans to introduce an E-Luna variant with a larger 3kWh battery pack for an extended range in the near future, further enhancing the versatility and appeal of the electric moped.
