Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, along with his entire Cabinet, submitted their resignations to Governor Bandaru Dattatreyar on March 12, adding fuel to speculations of a breakdown in the BJP-JJP alliance. Earlier in the day, Khattar and his Cabinet members met with Governor Dattatreyar at the Governor House in Chandigarh. The BJP-JJP alliance has been under scrutiny, and the resignation of the Chief Minister and his Cabinet has further intensified political uncertainties in Haryana.
The BJP has also called a meeting of its MLAs in response to the evolving political situation.
