Elvish Yadav, popular YouTuber and winner of Bigg Boss OTT2, found himself in legal trouble on Sunday as he was arrested by the Noida Police in connection with a case involving snake venom. The arrest came after Yadav was called in for questioning and subsequently taken into custody.
Yadav, along with five others, faces charges under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A of the Indian Penal Code, pertaining to criminal conspiracy. The allegations stem from their purported involvement in supplying and using snake venom at rave parties held in Noida’s Sector 51.
The arrest follows a sting operation conducted by Maneka Gandhi’s People for Animals, which targeted individuals suspected of providing snake venom for illicit purposes. While the other five individuals were apprehended earlier, Yadav’s role in the alleged procurement of snakes for such gatherings was under investigation.
A video circulating on social media purports to show Yadav’s interaction with the police during his arrest, further fueling public interest in the case. As the investigation unfolds, authorities are expected to shed more light on the extent of Yadav’s involvement and any potential repercussions he may face.
