Delhi’s Public Works Department (PWD) Minister, Atishi, has given the green light for the strengthening and upgradation of Ring Road from Nigam Bodh Ghat to Chandgi Ram Akhara signal, aiming to facilitate smoother traffic movement, according to an official statement on March 11.
The Public Works Department is reportedly operating on a mission mode, focusing on enhancing the quality and resilience of Delhi’s road infrastructure. The approved projects include the strengthening of Ring Road between Nigam Bodh Ghat to Chandgi Ram Akhara red light.
Atishi, who recently sanctioned several major projects to improve road quality, emphasized the objective of creating visually appealing roads that reflect the beauty of Delhi while prioritizing the safety of all commuters. She stated, “The Ring Road strengthening work is a crucial step in our mission to create roads that are not only smooth but also safe for everyone. The strengthening of these roads will positively impact lakhs of commuters, alleviating congestion and enhancing connectivity.”
