Intensive Campaigning

Prominent BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, have been actively campaigning to replicate the party’s impressive 2019 performance, when it won all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana.

Strong India Narrative

On Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah held multiple rallies in Haryana, targeting the Congress party and promoting the BJP’s “strong India” narrative. Addressing a rally in Karnal, Shah emphasized that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) belongs to India and will be reclaimed. “PoK is ours, and we will take it,” he declared, drawing cheers from the crowd.

Criticism of Congress

Shah also criticized the Congress for its longstanding policy of appeasement. He accused the Congress of failing to revoke Article 370 due to its appeasement politics. “The Congress has played the politics of appeasement for years. They did not revoke Article 370 because of this policy,” he asserted.

Mobilizing Support

The BJP’s campaign strategy includes rallying high-profile leaders to address multiple constituencies, aiming to ensure a strong voter turnout and reinforce their previous electoral success. With Prime Minister Modi and other key leaders actively participating, the party is focusing on maintaining its dominance in the state.

Conclusion

As Haryana gears up for the polls, the BJP is leaving no stone unturned in its quest to secure another landslide victory. The intense campaigning by senior leaders reflects the party’s commitment to retaining its stronghold in the state.
