Bollywood-based production house, Applause Entertainment, and Neelam Studios have announced a groundbreaking collaboration to bring forth a series of compelling films, starting with an untitled project helmed by acclaimed director Mari Selvaraj.
This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies, with Neelam Studios, led by filmmaker Pa Ranjith and producer Aditi Anand, teaming up with Applause Entertainment following their debut Tamil feature film, Por Thozhil.
The inaugural project, directed by Mari Selvaraj, is a highly anticipated sports drama based on Kabaddi, set to commence production in early 2024. Described as a tale of grit and glory, the film explores the journey of a young man who defies all odds to pursue his passion for sports amidst adversities.
