Akhilesh Yadav to Join Congress’ Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Agra on February 25, Announces Samajwadi Party

In a significant political development, the Samajwadi Party (SP) declared on Thursday that its national president, Akhilesh Yadav, will be participating in the Congress party’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Agra on February 25. The announcement follows an invitation extended by Congress leaders to Yadav, and the SP has accepted, marking a strategic move ahead of the upcoming elections.

Rajendra Chaudhary, the chief spokesperson of the Samajwadi Party, confirmed the decision, stating, “Congress leaders came with an invitation from their party president for our national president, Akhilesh Yadav Ji, to join the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. We have accepted the invitation, and our president will participate on February 25 in Agra.” The unveiling of this collaboration comes a day after the finalization of the SP-Congress seat-sharing agreement for Uttar Pradesh, with the Congress fielding candidates in 17 constituencies and the SP in the remaining 63.

The joint participation in the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra reflects a strategic alliance between the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, aiming to consolidate support and present a united front in the electoral landscape. As the political dynamics in Uttar Pradesh evolve, the joint efforts of these two prominent parties will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the narrative leading up to the keenly contested elections, slated to take place.
