The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has unveiled its initial list of candidates for Punjab in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, featuring five Cabinet Ministers among the eight contenders.
According to the announcement, Cabinet Ministers Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal will contest from Amritsar, Laljit Singh Bhullar from Khadoor Sahib, Gurmeet Singh Khudian from Bathinda, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer from Sangrur, and Balbir Singh from Patiala.
Additionally, Jalandhar MP Sushil Rinku has been nominated once again as the candidate for the Jalandhar seat.
The party also revealed Gurpreet Singh GP as its candidate for the Fatehgarh Sahib constituency. Mr. Singh, a former Congress MLA from Bassi Pathana, recently joined the AAP.
Further expanding its roster, the AAP has nominated Punjabi actor Karamjeet Anmol as its candidate for the Faridkot seat.
