Amidst a blame game between the AAP and Swati Maliwal over her alleged assault, a fresh video has emerged showing the Rajya Sabha MP being escorted by security personnel out of the Delhi Chief Minister’s house. The AAP accused Maliwal of staging a drama and claimed that in the video she was seen walking calmly, without any limp.
The development came as Maliwal’s medical report, released by AIIMS, revealed bruises on her face and leg after she was allegedly assaulted by Arvind Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar at the Chief Minister’s residence on May 13.
Meanwhile, Bibhav Kumar has filed a counter-complaint in the alleged assault case, saying the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP was “trying to falsely implicate” him in an effort to “create undue pressure”. He claimed that the former Delhi Commission for Women chairperson tried to “create a ruckus and assault” him as she “forcefully and unauthorisedly” entered the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence on May 13.
