Arvind Kejriwal Assures Freedom from Jail with Maximum Votes for AAP

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on the second day of his roadshow in New Delhi, reassured supporters that he won’t return to jail if the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) receives maximum votes in the upcoming elections. Kejriwal, expressing gratitude for his temporary release, emphasized the power of voters to determine his fate.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Kejriwal highlighted the significance of their support, asserting that pressing the ‘jhaadu button’ (AAP’s symbol) could prevent his re-incarceration. He invoked solidarity with the people of Delhi, acknowledging their longing and reaffirming his commitment to their welfare.

Following his interim bail granted by the Supreme Court until June 1, Kejriwal embarked on a vigorous campaign, unrestricted by legal constraints but refrained from visiting official premises. Despite impending surrender and return to Tihar on June 2, Kejriwal remained resolute in his electoral efforts, buoyed by the overwhelming response from constituents.

Kejriwal’s campaign agenda focused on promises of free education, improved healthcare, and advocating for full statehood for Delhi, resonating with voters seeking transformative governance. His strategic engagements included consultations with political allies and visits to legal counsel, symbolizing a comprehensive approach to electoral success.

In the coming days, Kejriwal plans to expand his campaign footprint, rallying support for the INDIA bloc in key cities such as Lucknow, Jamshedpur, and Mumbai. With a proactive stance on policy guarantees, Kejriwal aims to galvanize public trust and secure a decisive victory for AAP in the upcoming elections.
