At least nine people lost their lives in a collision between a car and a truck in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district on Sunday morning. The tragic accident occurred when a group of people in a car were returning from a marriage procession. The police report that the collision happened near the Khanpur area of the district.
Jhalawar Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar confirmed the deaths and stated that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examinations . The authorities have arrested the truck driver in connection with the incident, and further investigations are underway to understand the exact cause of the accident.
Meanwhile, another fatal accident occurred on Saturday in Rajasthan’s Dudu town. In this incident, a car hit a motorcycle and subsequently collided with a stationary truck. According to police, the car’s driver lost control while attempting to avoid hitting the motorcycle, leading to a crash with the parked truck. As a result, three people in the car died on the spot, while the bike rider succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
