16-Year-Old Arrested for Plotting Father’s Murder in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan Sees Similar Tragic Incident

Uttar Pradesh Police have apprehended a 16-year-old boy for masterminding the murder of his father, Mohammed Naeem, a 50-year-old businessman, in the Patti area of Pratapgarh district. The assailants, identified as Piyush Pal, Shubham Soni, and Priyanshu, were also captured by the authorities.The teenager confessed to hiring the shooters, promising them ₹6 lakh for the heinous act. He had already paid ₹1.5 lakh as an advance. The motive behind the crime, as revealed by the police, was the boy’s resentment towards his father for not providing him with sufficient funds. The boy admitted to resorting to theft from the family shop or house to fulfill his desires.

Additional Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar Singh expressed shock over the incident, stating, “The minor had planned to eliminate his father in the past but failed.” The minor has been placed in a juvenile center, while the arrested shooters have been remanded to jail custody.

In a separate tragic incident in Rajasthan’s Dungarpur, a 30-year-old man, Chunni Lal, allegedly killed his father, Rajeng Baranda, following a heated argument. Lal reportedly struck his father with a blunt object, resulting in fatal injuries. Shockingly, Lal buried his father’s body inside their residence courtyard and kept it hidden for five days.

The gruesome act came to light when Baranda’s other sons grew suspicious about their father’s disappearance and questioned Chunni Lal. Deputy Police Superintendent Rajkumar Rojora revealed that Lal confessed to the crime, citing a dispute as the motive.

These incidents underscore the alarming trend of familial violence and highlight the need for heightened vigilance and early intervention to prevent such tragedies. Authorities urge communities to foster open communication and seek help when facing familial conflicts to prevent further loss of life.
