Ather Energy Set to Launch Electric Motorcycles by 2027-2029 Alongside Ather Rizta

Ather Energy, the prominent electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is expanding its portfolio beyond scooters with plans to introduce electric motorcycles in the market. According to Ravneet Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, the brand aims to unveil its first electric motorcycle between 2027 and 2029.

This announcement comes in conjunction with the anticipation surrounding the launch of Ather Rizta, another innovative offering from the company. The decision to diversify into electric motorcycles underscores Ather Energy’s commitment to advancing sustainable mobility solutions.

While the timeline for the electric motorcycle launch has been extended from earlier projections, Ravneet Phokela cited various factors contributing to the adjustment. Challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic and alterations in subsidy policies have necessitated recalibrations in the company’s roadmap.

Despite the delays and shifts in plans, Ather Energy remains steadfast in its mission to revolutionize the EV landscape. The forthcoming introduction of electric motorcycles aligns with the brand’s vision of ushering in a new era of clean and efficient transportation options for consumers.
