District Collector Assures Smooth Conduct of 10th Class Exams in Anantapur

District Collector M. Gautami assured on Sunday that all necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate the smooth conduct of the 10th Class exams scheduled from March 18 to 30 in Anantapur district. Addressing a press conference, she informed that a total of 40,063 students will be appearing for the exams across 142 examination centers in the district.

Emphasizing the importance of adhering to exam regulations, the Collector stated that students must arrive at the examination centers by 8:40 a.m., as exams will commence at 9:30 a.m. and conclude by 12:45 p.m. She reiterated that mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited within the examination centers, which have been designated as no-mobile zones.

To maintain the integrity of the examination process, QR codes have been implemented for each question paper, aiming to prevent any irregularities during the exams. The Collector also warned that any breaches of exam conduct will be met with strict legal action, with Section 144 CrPC in force at all examination centers.

In terms of student welfare, special arrangements have been made to ensure their safety and comfort during the exams. Facilities such as fresh drinking water and medical camps will be available, and uninterrupted power supply will be provided throughout the examination period. Additionally, students can avail themselves of free RTC bus travel using their hall tickets, with special buses operating on designated routes.
