The Minister underscored India’s interest in diversifying cooperation to encompass critical areas like semiconductors, green hydrogen, human resource mobility, and nuclear cooperation, aligning the bilateral ties with contemporary global developments.
Furthermore, Jaishankar noted the increasing alignment of India and South Korea’s perspectives in international forums, particularly in matters concerning the Indo-Pacific region. He emphasized the shared interest in ensuring the stability, security, and prosperity of the Indo-Pacific, reflecting the growing convergence of strategic priorities between the two nations.
The Joint Commission Meeting serves as a platform for both countries to strengthen their multifaceted partnership and explore avenues for collaboration in emerging sectors, laying the foundation for deeper engagement and mutual benefits in the future.
